Who we are

What information we collect and why

Through this website we collect several types of information and data, in three distinct ways: directly from you, from the traffic reports of the servers that host our site, and through cookies.

Information you give us directly:

  • We ask for and collect personal data such as your first and last name, email address and/or phone number when you fill in the contact form on our site. We use this data to reply to your message by email or phone and to send you further information about our products and services.
  • We ask for and collect personal data such as first and last name, address, phone number, email address and billing details so that we can meet our contractual obligations.
  • When you leave a comment on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as your IP address and your browser’s user agent string, to help us detect spam. You do not have to use your real or full name, and the email address you give will not be published on the site. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see whether you use it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public next to it.
  • We assure you that we store your personal data securely on our server or on the email platforms we use.

Information from the server’s traffic report:

  • When you visit a website, certain information is provided automatically, such as your IP address, the time of your visit, the page you came from, the device you use, the type and version of your browser, and your operating system or platform. We record and store this information for a set period of time. For this purpose we use external services (Google Analytics, Google Search Console), only to analyze and report anonymous, standardized usage patterns. We do not use traffic data to identify the people behind IP addresses.

Information collected through cookies:

  • Cookies are text (.txt) files that a web server sends to the browser you use and that are then stored on the device you use to access the site. Using cookies is a current standard, followed by most of the websites you visit.
  • Most browsers are set to accept cookies. Cookies let us, for example, save what you entered in a form, so that you do not have to type it again the next time you visit and want to contact us through a form. If you do not want this, you can reset your browser, ask to be notified, or refuse cookies altogether.
  • Our website uses cookies to tell apart the different users who have visited our page, so that we can offer them personalized services.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience, so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies last for one year.

When you log in, we also set several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days and screen options cookies for one year. If you select “Remember me”, your login cookies last for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies are removed.

Embedded content from other websites

Posts on this site may include embedded content (for example videos, images, articles) or link to other websites. Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited that other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including tracking it if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Each of these websites has its own privacy policy, and we accept no responsibility for compliance with it. Please check their privacy policy before you give them your personal data.

How we use the information we collect

We use the data we collect to:

  • meet the contractual obligations arising from training contracts concluded between the data subject and us, as a supplier of services and products, so that we can provide the information or services requested;
  • keep improving the information and content of our website, as efficiently as possible for its users;
  • run our website and the related internal operations, such as troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, investigations or statistics;
  • let you take part, if you wish, in some interactive features of our services;
  • keep conditions safe and secure while you browse our website.

Who we share your data with

We assure you that we do not sell your personal data to third parties.

How long we keep your data

Where personal data must be saved and processed to fulfill various contractual relationships, the data is kept only for the time needed to provide the service for which it was collected or, where applicable, for as long as the contract provides.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This lets us recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

In every case, we treat this data as confidential and use it only in accordance with data protection law and for the purpose for which it was requested.

Your rights over your data

If you have an account or have left comments on this website, you can ask to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have given us. You can also ask us to erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data at all. We will tell you why we need to collect this data, or whether we have to disclose your data to third parties (see above for the situations in which we do). You can exercise your right to ask us not to process your data by ticking boxes on the forms used to collect it, or you can ask us at any time.

Changes to this privacy policy

Any change to our privacy policy will be published on this page or, where appropriate, notified by email. Please check this section regularly to stay informed of any updates.
