Why Cellutec

Engineering depth behind every solution

The complete protective system, from one partner.

Most defense suppliers make a case, cut foam, or sew covers. Cellutec engineers all three together: the shell, the foam and the textile designed and tested as one, from a single accountable supplier. Fewer vendors, less integration risk, one qualification path.

Multi-material engineering

Engineered foam, plastic cases and technical textiles combined into one protective system for each requirement.

In-house foam R&D & CNC

Design offices at every site and the most comprehensive foam machine park in Europe: bespoke densities and interiors, multi-axis CNC routing and water-jet cutting to tight tolerances.

Co-engineering support

Direct collaboration with defense design offices to meet strict OEM & DGA requirements.

Qualified to defense standards

Designed and tested to MIL-STD-810 and STANAG 4280.

EU quality, made in Romania

European engineering and standards, produced at our Romanian site for competitive cost and short, reliable lead times.

Prototype to series

Prove fit and protection on real, testable samples before production, then scale the same design from a single unit to full series, with no re-tooling in between.

From first idea to series: de-risked, with a single qualified partner

1

Define & design

We turn your idea into clear product requirements, technical specs and a protection design.

2

Prototype

A real prototype in days, not weeks: the concept made tangible before production.

3

Sample & test

Real parts, tested and validated to the requirements.

4

Iterate

Refined until the product & protection are right, before the design locks.

5

Series

The proven design in repeatable series production, medium-to-high volume.

What you need to know

Military & defense: frequently asked questions

The questions we hear most: the equipment we protect, the standards we design to and how we can bring your project from idea to production.

What types of military and defense equipment does Cellutec protect?

Cellutec designs and manufactures custom foam inserts, rigid plastic cases and technical textiles that protect military equipment (weapons, optics, electronics, drones, generators and aircraft-related equipment) across twelve product families for military and defense. Each solution is engineered around the equipment's dimensions, weight and fragility, so the protection is specified to the item rather than approximated.

Which defense and quality standards does Cellutec design to?

Cellutec designs and tests military packaging to recognized defense standards: MIL-STD-810 environmental test methods, STANAG 4280 NATO packaging levels and MIL-D-3464 desiccant protection, under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, with drop and control testing in every production unit. The Jumbo Case line of cases is certified to STANAG 4280 and DEF STAN 81-41.

Does Cellutec offer preservation packaging for long-term storage?

Yes. Cellutec produces preservation packaging for long-term storage: Tyvek barrier bags with VCI protection and desiccants to MIL-D-3464, packed to MIL-STD-2073 and STANAG 4280. It keeps equipment corrosion-free through storage and transport, and it is one of Cellutec's twelve product families for military and defense.

Can Cellutec design custom packaging for a specific military system?

Yes. Cellutec co-engineers protection for a specific system to your OEM and DGA requirements: the equipment is measured and its risks defined, a prototype is produced and tested, then the design is iterated and released to series. Foam, plastic and textile components are designed together, so one supplier carries responsibility for the complete solution.

Does Cellutec produce both prototypes and series production?

Yes. Every military project runs through the same five steps: definition and design, prototyping, testing, iteration and series production. The prototype is validated with the client before tooling and series manufacturing start, so the production run inherits a tested design rather than an assumption about how the equipment will behave.

Can one supplier deliver the complete protection system?

Yes. Cellutec designs and manufactures the foam insert, the rigid case and the textile cover as one system, in its own production units in Romania. A single qualified supplier is responsible for fit, protection performance and delivery, which removes the interface risk between separate vendors and shortens qualification.

Does Cellutec supply tamper-evident security bags for chain-of-custody?

Yes. Cellutec sews and seals tamper-evident security bags to ISO 17712 practice for classified material, controlled components and sensitive shipments. Each bag's closure shows any attempt to open it, giving chain-of-custody protection between handover points, and the bag is made to order for its contents. It is one of Cellutec's twelve product families for military and defense.
